We have loved hosting the Blue Hawaii Chapter of the American Wine Society for the National Tasting Event the last several years.
Every year the American Wine Society presents the National Tasting Event. AWS Chapters all over the country participate in the chosen theme, tasting and rating the selected wines. Scores for the wines are then compared across all chapters, and results are available on the AWS website.
It's a great way to sample and learn about different wines from different regions. We love that our local chapter works with one of our favorite neighborhood liquor stores to stock our favorite wines we discover at the event.
The 2019 event featured wines of Napa Valley. The organizers paired each wine with a small bite prepared by Pyar Brazile, a phenomenal local caterer and friend. The comfortable atmosphere of the store, great friends, excellent wines, and delicious food made for another awesome Blue Hawaii evening.
